There have been rumors going around that one of my favorite bands 6Cyclemind is disbanding. According to a music insider, Ney Dimaculangan, the band's vocalist, is nowhere to be found and their manager Darwin Hernandez is on the lookout for a possible replacement. One of the options is Tutti Caringal (drums and backup vocals) who has been very high profile lately thanks to his Music Uplate Live hosting gig and a guest appearances in a couple of shows in ABS-CBN.
I just had a conversation with Darwin of Soupstar Entertainment just a few minutes ago to set the record straight: the nine-year-old 6Cyclemind is here to stay.
Darwin admitted though that Chuck will no longer be a part of the band due to personal reasons. Chuck will be replaced by Herbert Hernandez of Moonstar 88.
"Ten years na next year ang 6cyclemind... So far OK naman ang lahat ng members we are just in the process of trying out things kasi halos lahat nagawa na namin..." Darwin told me.
As for people who have missed Ney in the band's most recent gigs, Darwin said "Manghula na muna sila... Basta sa ngayon kung anong nakikita nila, yun ang 6Cyclemind!"
