SCOOP: IS VENUS RAJ JOINING WILLING-WILLIE?

Venus: "I'm not aware..."

Comedian Willie Revillame is said to be eyeing on Miss Universe 2010 runner-up Venus Raj as his second female co-host in his primetime game show "Willing-Willie" (TV5) after surprisingly signing up former presidential girlfriend and Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad.

Is Willie Revillame eyeing on beauty queen Venus Raj as his co-host?
According to sources, the mass appeal of the statuesque Bicolana beauty queen may help Willie attain his goal to overthrow TV Patrol (ABS-CBN) and 24-Oras (GMA-7) in the ratings game.

But Venus denied the speculations that a negotiation is on the works for her inclusion in the controversial game show. In a conversation with Mr Blind Item a few days ago, Venus said that Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) and her manager Jonas Gaffud, has not informed her of any deal being cooked up with Willie.

Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman was once a co-host
of "Wowowee"
"So far I have not been told by BPCI and my manager about the Willing-Willie gig," said the beauty queen. "I have no knowledge about it..."

Should Willie pursue his plans, Venus would be the second international beauty queen to serve as his co-host. In 2007,  Miss International titleholder Precious Lara Quigaman became a co-host of his now defunct noontime show "Wowowee."

SUPER SCOOP: QTV 11 PLANS TO REFORMAT AS A NEWS CHANNEL?

For the third time, QTV 11 is changing its programming format from being a lifestyle network primarily targeting women to a news and public affairs channel, a highly reliable source told MR BLIND ITEM.

The alternative network, owned by GMA 7 on a 100% leased airtime from ZOE Broadcasting Network, started airing on November 11, 2005 as a women's lifestyle station. It was expected to compete with the then No. 3 station, Studio 23 owned by ABS-CBN.

However, recent turns of events pushed QTV 11's standing to No. 5 with TV5 challenging the standing of ABS-CBN and GMA 7 in the No 1 and No 2 spots.

According to sources, QTV 11 will bank on the highly respected news and public affairs team of GMA 7 to attract viewership. It will be a 24-hour news channel similar to ANC, but only on free TV.

Good luck to QTV 11 on it's new move!

HOT! HOT! HOT: MARK HERRAS SEX SCANDAL, FOR REAL OR PHOTOSHOPPED?

!
The first screen grab establishes the face of the mystery man who may easily
be mistaken for Mark Herras. The second screen grab shows someone whose face
is not seen showing off his penis.

A screen grab of a man who has a strikingly resembles actor Mark Herras of GMA-7 showing his private parts in a webcam conversation is circulating online and people are curious whether it is for real or simply a product of Photoshop manipulation.

Two sets of screen grabs are shown-- the first one establishes the face of the man in question and the second one depicts someone whose face is not seen exposing his stiff penis. To an untrained eye, the images may appear to be connected with one another because of the consistency of details including image texture, similarity of background, and the color of the shirt of the subject. But then again, at this time when digital imaging has achieved a very level of sophistication, no one should right away jump into conclusions.

Mr Blind Item has decided not to post the second screen grab to protect the interest of the mystery man who obviously do not have any idea that the person he is chatting online is taking screen grabs of his image.

Mr Blind Item is open anytime to hear the side of Mark Herras on the story.

PRESIDENT NOYNOY-SHALANI BREAKUP, BECOMING MORE AND MORE OBVIOUS?

Two weeks after Mr Blind Item broke the news that President Noynoy Aquino and Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad have parted ways, the truth is becoming more and more obvious.

Shalani, who earlier denied this blog's scoop on the breakup, is now evading the question whether she remains to be the first-lady-in-the-waiting of the first bachelor Philippine president.

In a news story aired on GMA-7's news program "24 Oras," reporter Lhar Santiago asked Shalani to deny nor confirm the gossips that she has called it quits with Noynoy.

"No na Lhar thank you... Next time na lang!" Shalani replied, insisting that the status of her relationship with P-Noy is a personal matter that she would rather not talk about.

There's also been no sightings at all of the presidential sweethearts since the breakup issue came out. A Palace aide told Mr Blind Item before that Shalani's apparent exclusion from the President's official and personal functions began months ago, after her boyfriend was installed as the most powerful man of the land. Since then, she has likewise not been receiving calls, and even text messages from him (but that is understandable because he must be extremely busy serving our nation.)

So if the Noynoy-Shalani romance is over, why can't the couple just make it public?

According to my source, dumping the charming, elegant, and fragile-looking Shalani would make Noynoy appear ike the nation's biggest jerk. Seeing the broken-hearted Valenzuela councilor cry in public over the breakup would damage the President's popularity, especially among women.

Or maybe Noynoy and Shalani have not exactly split up yet but just in this romantic purgatory that Facebook called "It's Complicated." There's nothing really wrong about it. They are after all just like any average couple around, trying to figure out each day if they are really meant for each other.

SCOOP: IT'S CONFIRMED! WILLING-WILLIE TO START AIRING ON TV5 ON OCTOBER 23

The much-anticipated debut of "Willing-Willie," Willie Revillame's new game show in his new home channel TV5 will begin airing on October 23, Saturday, according to Viva Entertainment's big boss Vic del Rosario.

It was earlier reported that the controversial game show, which is heavily patterned after Revillame's now-defunct noontime show "Wowowee," will break on air on the lucky day of October 10, 2010 (10-10-10).

According to del Rosario, "Willing-Willie" will shake up Philippine television. It will be the only game show in the first hour of the prime time-- competing with tried and tested ratings maker news shows "TV Patrol" of ABS-CBN and "24-Oras" of GMA 7.

Revillame is reported to be receiving around P4.5B in his three-year contract with TV5, the biggest payoff ever in the history of Philippine show business. However, the talk show host was slapped with  a P485M law suit by his former station ABS-CBN for breach of contract.

BB. PILIPINAS-INTERNATIONAL KRISTA KLEINER FACES DETHRONEMENT?

Is Krista singing "I kiss a girl and I like it..."?
It seems that the year 2010 promises to be one of the most controversial-- but hopefully equally triumphant-- years of the Philippine pageant history.

Another dethronement case is brewing against Binibining Pilipinas-International Krista Kleiner for having scandalous images of herself kissing another girl.  The 5'10.5 GMA 7 actress and taekwondo blackbelter is the girlfriend of RnB artist JayR.

According to a reliable pageant insider, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) board of directors headed by the first Columbian Miss International Stella Marquez de Araneta will be meeting sometime this week to discuss the matter and announce its verdict.

I was told that BPCI is "inclined" of dethroning Krista, and replacing her with first runner-up Diane Necio. Bicolano beauty Diane was not considered as the possible replacement of Venus Raj a few months back for not fulfilling a technical requirement of the Miss Universe pageant.

In Facebook, hundreds of people have signified their petition to dethrone Krista due to the scandalous image that is "unlikely of a Filipina." Ironically, many of them are the same pageant fans who fought hard for Venus to retain her title.
