In-demand Character Actor (ICA) should be casted in ABC-CBN's afternoon soap opera "Juanita Banana" and be given the role of human saba, a local banana variant known for being not-so-long but insanely thick appearance.

Why so? According to a very reliable source of Mr Blind Item, the reputable actor who is known for his mostly bad boy roles in soap operas and mainstream and independent movies, possesses a manly pride that women-- and allegedly gays too-- would choke for. And the most appropriate comparison to ICA's pecker is the innocent "saba."

BEKIMON LANDS MAJOR ROLE IN NEW ABS-CBN SOAP JUANITA BANANA

Gay comic icon and Youtube sensation Bekimon (Bern Josep Persia in real life) landed a major, major role in the new comedy soap Juanita Banana in ABS-CBN Channel 2.

Juanita Banana is a remake of the 1960s movie starring Rosemarie Sonora (in title role), Ricky Belmonte (as the magic dwarf Prince Rikitik), Pepito Rodriguez (as Gordo), and Bella Flores (as the evil stepmother of Juanita Banana). This rare Filipino magical musical is based on the folk belief that catching a teardrop from the banana tree will give a person magic powers.

Bekimon is extremely excited to start taping the episodes of Juanita Banana in an undisclosed location somewhere down south where bananas as abundant. He just had an acting workshop and script reading last Saturday with comedienne Beverly Salviejo-Lauzon. The soap opera's teasers have already began airing in the network yesterday.

Does this mean Bekimon is now a certified Kapamilya star?
