Many people are actually smitten with the possibility of seeing Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad and basketball superstar James Yap become a real life couple.
As we all know, Shalani is broken-hearted after the President abandoned her to concentrate on the matters of the nation and being caught dating another girl even without public announcement of their split-up. James, meanwhile, is on a legal battle for the custody of his son Bamby with his ex-wife, television host and actress Kris, who earlier asked the courts to nullify their marriage.
"Shalani and James look so good together. If they start dating, it's going to be an advantage that they are of the same age. A May-December love affair is so complicated that is why it's always bound to fail," a fan told Mr Blind Item.
Others though have nasty reasons in mind: that is to spite the PNoy and Kris for leaving their well-loved idols.
I know that anything can happen in this wild, wild world but a Shalani and James romance is just beyond my imagination.
