YES, IT'S TRUE! MYRUS IS BEKIMON'S SINGING JUNAKIS

The Sentimental Prince of OPM Myrus turned out to be the Singing Junakis character of YouTube sensation Bekimon (Bern Josep Persia).

Myrus, the voice behind the hit revival of jukebox hit "Sayang" of Claire dela Fuente, was introduced as the mysterious Singing Junakis a few months back by Bekimon. The video was shot in the condo residence of their talent manager Chris Cahilig.

Myrus is considered as one of the best singers of his generation. His admirers include international diva Diana King and Asia's songbird Regine Velasquez. His debut album "Love Cycle" has reached the Gold Record status in December 2009. He won a handful of awards including the Top Entertainment Award as Best New RnB Artist in 2010 and was nominated as Best New Male Recording Artist in the 23rd Awit Awards for  his rendention of "Sayang."

Junakis looks as good as he sounds

It it true that the mystery man behind the innocently sexy voice of Junakis of YouTube sensation Bekimon (Bern Josep Persia) is now ready to reveal his identity?

The popular Junakis character who has charmed and intrigued thousands of Filipino fans of the Bekimon video series that has received over 2.4 million YouTube hits so far remains elusive in front of the camera. Various speculations about his true identity came out-- some suggesting that he is either Bekimon's lover, his officemate, or his bestfriend.

Junakis was sorely missed by his fans after he and Bekimon has parted ways a few months back. Bekimon then went on a solo showbiz career and has landed a major role in the top-rating noon-time soap "Juanita Banana" and Junakis went back to his family. But the YouTube tandem has finally reconciled and the two are planning on coming up with more hilarious videos for their followers.

But who really is Junakis? Until he is ready, these are the only clues I can reveal:

BEKIMON LANDS MAJOR ROLE IN NEW ABS-CBN SOAP JUANITA BANANA

Gay comic icon and Youtube sensation Bekimon (Bern Josep Persia in real life) landed a major, major role in the new comedy soap Juanita Banana in ABS-CBN Channel 2.

Juanita Banana is a remake of the 1960s movie starring Rosemarie Sonora (in title role), Ricky Belmonte (as the magic dwarf Prince Rikitik), Pepito Rodriguez (as Gordo), and Bella Flores (as the evil stepmother of Juanita Banana). This rare Filipino magical musical is based on the folk belief that catching a teardrop from the banana tree will give a person magic powers.

Bekimon is extremely excited to start taping the episodes of Juanita Banana in an undisclosed location somewhere down south where bananas as abundant. He just had an acting workshop and script reading last Saturday with comedienne Beverly Salviejo-Lauzon. The soap opera's teasers have already began airing in the network yesterday.

Does this mean Bekimon is now a certified Kapamilya star?
